  • Origin

Nicaragua is a country of lakes, volcanoes and mountains, whose strategic geographical position made it an important route for migrants and pirates. Cultivated near cocoa, banana and other trees, the coffee bushes have optimum light conditions for their growth. Nicaraguan coffee is produced at high altitudes (above 1,500 meters) and has lower caffeine content than other coffees.

    Tasting Notes
    Directions
      • The foam is light brown.

      • Floral and spicy.

      • A medium-bodied, smooth coffee with strong acidity. An intense and lingering flavor.

    • Open the individual bag and place the coffee serving in the specific filter basket of the machine. After utilization, remove the coffee pod from filter basket.

Torrié Angola embodies the strength and exoticism of Africa with a very mild, earthy aroma of the coffee plantations. Planted at low altitudes in the vast Angolan jungles where the soil is very fertile, these are balanced, high-quality coffees with low acidity. It was here that over many years the Portuguese learned the art of producing coffee.

    Tasting Notes
      • Abundant and long-lasting hazel-colored foam.

      • A woody fragrance with hints of cocoa, vanilla and caramel.

      • A full-bodied coffee, which is silky smooth and balanced. It is sweet and has low acidity.

This coffee, which is cultivated at altitudes of between 1,200 and 1,800 meters, comes to us from the interior, mountainous area near the Andean Cordillera. As mechanical harvesting is impossible, its production is time consuming and labor-intensive but the fineness of these coffees is well-known worldwide. The lava from the plentiful volcanoes imbues the soil with mineral salts. The coffees from this area bring with them the complex, intense aroma and exotic taste of the mountains.

    Tasting Notes
      • Light brown foam.

      • Aromas of cocoa and caramel.

      • Elegant coffee with a lot of body. It is sweet with moderate acidity and a lingering finish.

With low production but excellent quality, Guatemalan coffee is produced on the sunny slopes of volcanoes, at an altitude of between 1,300 and 2,000 meters. The coffee bushes are planted in the shade of tall, leafy trees to protect them from the burning midday heat which could damage their leaves. Here, the growth of the coffee plants is slow, which allows each fruit to develop a strong concentration of aromas and flavors. All this natural richness is brought to your cup by the bluish-green grains of our Guatemalan green coffee.
